  • The Benefits of Flexibility in Productivity and Retention: Many companies and organizations fear that providing flexible hours will have a negative effect on productivity. In fact, research shows that flexibility supports business goals and raises productivity. This session will arm audiences with valuable information and case studies in the success of flexibility programs.
Breakout session 1:
  • What are the generational differences in flexibility? What are the best practices for managing the millennial generation, especially when companies have decided to offer flexible hours? How does this impact the sandwich generation? This session will include discussion of providing parents with flexibility versus single employees.
  • What are the most effective resources for supporting flexibility in the workplace? What are the best resources for providing for all aspects of care: child care, senior care, after-school care, college scholarships, geriatric counseling, and more.
  • What are the most innovative options for providing flexibility with a focus on health and wellness? What are the best examples of successful health plans in the workplace? This topic will also focus on 24-hour nurse lines, nutritional counseling, personal health training, with input from revolutionary existing programs.
  • How can companies successfully provide onramping and offramping programs for medical leave? Talk with companies who have constructed successful strategies for managing maternity and health related leaves.

Examine the role of the father and how workplace perceptions dictate acceptable flexibility for men. How do these issues pertain to men in the military and their roles as fathers?
